by year:

AC Association Croquet

The Inter-Counties Championship is a national team competition sponsored by the Croquet Association.
See the CA website for further details and a tournament report.
Counties from the EACF region that participate in it are shown in bold red.

Nottinghamshire snatched the title from last year's winners Somerset in spite of losing to Somerset in their individual match. Hertfordshire improved on their strong 2011 performance with 6 match wins, equaling the 6 wins of newly-promoted Essex. Suffolk struggled this year in the absence of some of their strongest players, and are relegated to Division 2 for 2013, where they will join Bedfordshire who finished a couple of match wins short of the promotion zone.
