AGM

Agenda:

1. Apologies for absence.
2. Chairman's introduction.
3. To approve the Minutes of the previous meeting held via Zoom on 27 March 2023.
4. To receive the Secretary's report.
5. To receive the Treasurer's report and to approve the Statement of Accounts for the year ending 31st December 2023.
6. To determine the Annual Subscriptions for the year ending 31st December 2023.
7. To receive The Development & Equipment Officers Report.
8. To receive The Soham Indoors Carpet Organiser Report.
9. To receive The Webmasters report.
10. To approve changes to the Constitution necessitated primarily by the change from the Croquet Association to Croquet England.
11. To introduce the AC Alternate Stroke Doubles trial for 2024 (extending 2023’s level play trial) to our three handicap leagues.
12. a. To elect the Officers to the Executive Committee for the forthcoming year:
    • Chairman - Geoff Johnson (also GC Leagues).
    • Secretary - Francis Lambert (also AC League Manager).
    • Treasurer - Arthur Reed.

    b. To elect members to the Executive Committee for the forthcoming year:

    • Jonathan Toye - Development & Equipment & Coaching Advisor.
    • Paul Hetherington - Indoors Carpet at Soham.
    • Simon Hathrell - Webmaster & AC League Manager.
    • George Collin - Federation Safeguarding Officer.
    • Brian Havill - Federation Forum Representative
    • Terrey Sparks- Federation AC Handicapper, AC League Manager & EACF Tournaments Manager.
    • Thomas Halliday - Coaching Advisor
    • Jason Carley – Federation GC Handicapper & Coaching Advisor

    CqE representatives appointments: ex-officio - George Collin.

    All nominations for Officers and Committee Members must be submitted in writing (by e-mail or letter) and received by the Secretary by Saturday 20th February 2022. Nominations can only be made by an Officer of a full member club and the agreement of the nominee which must be obtained prior to nomination.

13. Appointment of the Examiner: John Noble has agreed to continue in this role for the forthcoming year.
14. To review the current situation in respect to the forthcoming proposed summer season's programme of events / leagues / tournaments.
15. Any Other Business: - It would be helpful if any proposed business was submitted in writing (by email or letter) to the Secretary by Saturday 24th February 2024.
