In Division 1, after the all-play-all stage of the tournament the counties were divided into three blocks of 4 based on their results so far. Each block of 4 then played a 2-round knock-out with a play-off for the losers. Dorset emerged as the overall winners by beating Kent 2-1 in the final of the knock-out between the top 4 counties in the all-play-all stage, with Kent as runners up and Somerset 3rd.
